Carson Tong

Carson joined IMCO in 2022 as Senior Portfolio Manager, Public Market Alternatives (PMA), and is responsible for the core idiosyncratic portion of the PMA strategy. He has over 18 years of capital markets and investment experience specializing in leveraged finance, credit and natural resources. Prior to IMCO, Carson was with CI Global Asset Management as Vice President and Portfolio Manager analyzing high yield bonds, convertible bonds and leveraged loans focused on energy, mining, utilities, chemicals, and packaging sectors. Previously, he was Vice President at RBC Capital Markets in equity research covering Canadian senior energy companies. Prior to that he spent time in investment banking and financial advisory roles.

Carson holds an Honours Bachelors of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a CFA charterholder.
