Fernando Martinez

Fernando is Senior Portfolio Manager, Global Credit at IMCO and leads a team of professionals focused on private credit investments across all types of transactions (corporate, infrastructure, and structured credit), ranging from senior secured to hybrid instruments and capital solutions.

Prior to joining IMCO in 2021, he was a Director at Sun Life Capital Management's Private Fixed Income team, working on private credit investment opportunities in the US, Canada, and the UK. Fernando began his career at Citigroup in 2006 where he covered different industries within the institutional clients segment in Latin America.

Fernando holds an MBA from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from The Javeriana University in Bogota, Colombia.
