John Kwan

John Kwan is Senior Portfolio Manager, Liquidity and Leverage at IMCO. He is responsible for managing and investigating different funding sources for IMCO and works closely with front office groups including Fixed income, FX and centralized trading. John joined IMCO in June 2022 with over 20 years’ experience in Capital Markets.

Prior to joining IMCO, John was Managing Director and Head of Canadian Asset Management at BMO Capital Markets, where he was also responsible for managing the CAD liquidity pools. John has extensive knowledge and experience trading many global fixed income product types, interest rate derivatives, FX derivatives and ETFs.

John holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and is a CFA charter holder.
