Ben De Prisco

As Chief Risk Officer, Ben oversees IMCO’s investment risk and enterprise risk management functions, including all risk modelling and management systems as well as risk related research.

Since joining IMCO in March 2019, Mr. De Prisco has served as Senior Vice President, Investment Risk. He was responsible for all investment-related risk management for IMCO’s $70.3-billion portfolio and led the development of risk modeling and management systems, as well as risk-related research.

Previously, Ben was Vice-President, Market Risk Management at Scotiabank where he was responsible for bank-wide metrics and algorithms spanning Market Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk, XVA, Economic and Regulatory Capital and ALM. He also spearheaded research, design and implementation for key new regulations.

His previous experience also includes senior positions at OMERS Capital Markets, where he served as Managing Director, Risk Management and Algorithmics Incorporated where he held various research and financial engineering roles.

Ben holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Business Administration from York University and he is a CFA charterholder.
