Tony Algar

Tony oversees the effective integration and deployment of key functions across the organization, including IT, Investment Operations, and Strategic Development and Project Management.

Previously, Tony was with Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) for 10 years, most recently as Managing Director, Head of Investment Operations where he oversaw the consolidation of both public and private asset operations.

His 25+ years of experience also includes senior roles in Risk Management and Operations at RBC Capital Markets and TD Securities respectively along with international experience gained through capital market roles in both Sydney and London.

Tony holds a Bachelor of Economics/Statistics from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from the Securities Institute of Australia as well as the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation.
