Kenneth Koon

Kenneth Koon is a Senior Principal, Infrastructure at IMCO. He leads a team on direct infrastructure investments and oversees the active management of the direct infrastructure portfolio with a focus on new energy vectors.

Kenneth has experience investing in a broad range of infrastructure assets across EMEA and North America, with expertise in strategic M&A, debt and equity capital markets transactions including IPOs and take-privates. Before joining IMCO in 2021, he was a Director at RBC Capital Markets, specializing in the energy, midstream and energy infrastructure sectors, and helped launch the team’s energy transition coverage when the sector was still in its infancy. Prior to RBC Capital Markets, Kenneth worked at CIBC Capital Markets and HSBC Global Banking & Markets.

Kenneth holds a Master's in Chemistry from the University of Oxford, where he was an AstraZeneca and Mary Somerville prize winner. He is also exam qualified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and ACA Financial Management prize winner.
