Appointment Notice – Ben De Prisco
IMCO is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben De Prisco as Senior Vice-President, Quantitative Investment Risk. In his role, Ben will oversee the financial risk management functions and provide leadership in developing financial modeling and risk management systems.
Most recently, Ben was Vice-President, Market Risk Management at Scotiabank where he was responsible for bank-wide metrics and algorithms spanning Market Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk, XVA, Economic and Regulatory Capital and ALM. He also spearheaded research, design and implementation for key new regulations.
“Ben is an accomplished leader in risk management,” said Saskia Goedhart, Chief Risk Officer. ”His knowledge and expertise will strengthen IMCO’s risk management framework, support our growth and performance and create greater value for our clients.”
Ben’s previous experience includes senior positions at OMERS Capital Markets, where he served as Managing Director, Risk Management and Algorithmics Incorporated where he held various research and financial engineering roles.
Ben is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and holds an MBA in Finance and a BBA, Accounting and Economics from the Schulich School of Business, York University.
